WATCH: Hundreds line Carrick's streets as Santa arrives to switch on lights

Hundreds of people were in Carrick-on-Shannon tonight to watch Santa switch on the Christmas lights.

There was a Christmas Lights Parade from the fire station down to the Market Yard beforehand.

There were banners to reflect Carrick's success in the SuperValu TidyTowns competition recently, where it won the overall award.
