A walk-in Covid testing centre is to open in Mullingar this week.
People who are asymptomatic, over the age of 16 and live within close proximity to St Loman's Health Campus will be able to get tested for free from tomorrow.
The centre is to remain open from Wednesday of this week until this day next week from 9am until 5pm. It is one of two new walk-in testing centres which are due to open this week - the other being in Dunmanway in County Cork.

Previous 'pop-up- test centres in this region have operated in Ballinasloe, Athlone and in a housing estate in Longford town.
