A landmark building in Boyle is set to become a veterinary clinic - if planners give it the green light.
The property on Elphin Street was most recently a Druminilra restaurant and, in the past, a doctor's surgery.
It has now been sold to Emlagh Lodge Veterinary Centre from Elphin, who intend turning it into a veterinary clinic and shop.
A planning application will be lodged with Roscommon County Council shortly - and local councillor Sean Moylan is welcoming the plans:
