A vehicle has collided with a level crossing in Co. Roscommon this morning. Irish Rail say the 7:15am Westport/Heuston service departed Castlerea approximately 59 minutes behind schedule.
Meanwhile, the 7:08am Athlone/Westport service departed Castlerea approximately 98 minutes behind schedule due to the damage to the level crossing at Castlerea. Irish Rail also confirmed that staff are currently on-site and working to repair the damaged level crossing.
