Vandalism and theft from an honesty box in Ballaghaderreen has been described as a 'new low' for crime in Co Roscommon.

German woman Sabrina Kuchenbecker sells produce from her farm in Aughalista, such as eggs, jams and vegetables.

But it was targeted by vandals on Monday evening, in the latest in a series of crimes in Roscommon.

Sabrina says she noticed the damage when she arrived home from shopping.

Local councillor Micheál Frain has condemned the incident.
