Valentine's Day spending reveals strong sales locally

A recent spending analysis conducted by AIB reveals the average transactions their customers spent on Valentine's Day last year.

Over half a million euro was spent on flowers alone on February 13th 2025.

Men of Roscommon ranked 11th on the list detailing how much was spent in florists, revealing an average expenditure of €60.12 in the county.

Longford follows close behind with an average figure of €59.41, whereas Leitrim sees a drop to 22nd place, with an average spend of €54.96.
