The Seanad has been told of the need for the upkeep of road signs locally.
Many are said to be in need of upkeep while others are pointing in the opposite direction to the actual location.
Roscommon Senator Gareth Scahill raised the matter.

Following the replacement of speed signs in 2025, he feels something similiar should be done to road signs:
