Two men hospitalised following multi-vehicle crash near Carrick

Two men were hospitalised following a multi-vehicle crash near Carrick on Shannon yesterday evening. Gardaí say a collision involving two cars, a van and a number of parked vehicles occurred at around 6.10 on the R299 at Foxborough.

Two of the drivers were brought to Sligo University Hospital for treatment of injuries not believed to be life threatening. Investigations are ongoing.
