Two people have been hospitalised following a road collision in Roscommon last evening.
Gardai are investigating the incident which occurred on the R294.
The two-vehicle crash took place shortly after 6.30pm on the old Carrick-on-Shannon road in Boyle.

Emergency services attended the scene and both drivers were removed to Sligo University Hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
