St. Michaels GAA club paid tribute on social media last night.

Tributes have been paid to a Co. Roscommon man who tragically died in a camping accident last week. Charlie Beirne was originally from Knockvicar in North Roscommon but had been living in Canada.

Charlie's local GAA club, St. Michaels, paid tribute to him on social media last night. They said "His character lit up every room, and his passing has left the club in shock." Local councillor Sean Moylan has also been paying tribute:
