Tributes paid to much-loved Longford nun following her death

Tributes are being paid to a much-loved local nun following her passing on Wednesday.

Sr Magdalen McGarry, was assigned to the Convent of Mercy in Longford Town.

Her funeral mass will take place at 11am this morning at St Mel's Cathedral in the town.

Burial will flollow in Ballymacormack Cemetery.
