Tributes are being a paid for a former Longford County Councillor who has passed away.
Colmcille native Dan Mulligan died on Saturday at Cavan General Hospital.
The former Irish Army captain served as councillor in Longford from 1969 until 1974.

He was co-opted onto the Council following the passing of Independent Republican Councillor Sean F Lynch in 1969.
His funeral mass took place earlier today in Colmcille.
