Transport Minister Darragh O'Brien has cut the ribbon to officially open a section of the new N5. The newly opened section sees Frenchpark and Sheepwalk bypassed.
It's part of the wider 34-kilometre project which will also bypass Ballinagare, Tulsk and Strokestown. Minister O'Brien believes it's a positive day for the local area:
