Train lines which serve the Shannonside region each saw an increase in the number of passengers in 2025.
The figures come as Irish Rail highlight the importance of reporting incidents on services to it's anti-social text line.
The Galway to Dublin route, which has stops in Ballinasloe and Athlone had a 9 per cent growth in 2025.
An 8 per cent increase was reported on the line Westport to Dublin which has stops in Castlerea, Roscommon and Athlone.
While Sligo to Dublin, which includes Boyle, Carrick, Dromod, Longford and Edgeworthstown recorded a 7 per cent increase.
