Towpath along the 44th level at Killashee in Longford closes for two weeks

The towpath on the 44th level at Killashee Co Longford along the Royal Canal will be closed from Monday next until the 12th of April this year to facilitate essential maintenance works.

Waterways Ireland says these investigate works have been classified as critical infrastructure works so they will continue over the current period of increased Covid 19 restrictions.

The agency is apologising for any inconvenience caused to users of the towpath.
