Tom Crosby has been appointed as the new Cathaoirleach of Roscommon County Council.
The Independent Councillor was elected to the position at today's Annual General Meeting of the council.
He has taken over the role from Fianna Fail's Joe Murphy.

Athlone Municipal District's Laurence Fallon has also been appointed Leas Cathaoirleach of the council.
