It's been confirmed that improvement works at Dromod train station will go out to tender in the coming weeks.
Work is also expected to commence on the site in the third quarter of the year.
Planning permission was previously granted for a number of measures at the station.

This includes a new footbridge and lift, to improve accessibility for new and existing passengers.
