Three men have been sentenced for their roles in the manslaughter of retired farmer, Tom Niland, who died after he was beaten in his home in Skreen, County Sligo in January 2022. Mr Niland, who was in his 70s, died in hospital twenty months after three masked men attacked him after pushing their way into his home and demanding money. Frank Greaney reports:
