Hundreds of thousands of mourners from around the world are gathering in St Peter's Square for the Pope's funeral this morning.
Presidents, prime ministers and religious leaders are all attending the service, following Francis's death on Monday, aged 88.
He requested a 'simple' tomb 'in the ground' and will be the first pontiff buried outside the Vatican City in over a century.
