Organisers of the Boyle Summer Show have confirmed it will not go ahead this year due to the pandemic.
The committee has confirmed that after receiving advice from the Irish Shows Association the show should not run in 2021 until such time as the Government deems it safe to do so.
The committee says they are acutely aware of the importance of the show to the cultural, social and economic life of Boyle and the surrounding areas, and acknowledge the disappointment this decision will bring and hope to revive the show in 2022.
