Teenager who died while swimming in Co. Meath named locally

The 15-year-old from the Blackrock area of Dundalk got into difficulty while swimming in the River Nanny with friends during the hot weather.

The teenager who died while swimming in Laytown, County Meath has been named.
Kofi Owusu was a student of Coláiste Chú Chulainn which has organised guidance counsellors to support students and parents through the tragedy.
