A 14-year-old boy who got into difficulty swimming in Hollywood lake in County Monaghan has died.
The teenager had been airlifted to hospital in Dublin in a serious condition after he was pulled from the Monaghan lake on Sunday.
The incident occured at around 4pm and emergency services attended the scene before the boy was airlifted to Temple Street hospital.

Despite the efforts of medical staff he passed away yesterday.
Gardaí said they are treating the matter as a tragic accident at this time. A file will now be prepared for the Coroner.
