A teenager is set to appear in court this morning in connection with a series of burglaries in Mullingar over the weekend.
A light purple Toyota Vitz, which was stolen in the town, was believed to have been used.
At 7:40pm on Saturday three men robbed cash and cigarettes from a petrol station in Irishtown by threatening staff with weapons including a baseball bat.

They robbed a shop in the Ballinea area around 15 minutes later.
Later that night the car was found on fire in Kilbeggan.
A male juvenile is due to appear before Athlone District Court later this morning.
