Teenager arrested following discovery of drugs and cash in Athlone

A juvenile has been arrested following the seizure of a quantity of cash and drugs in Athlone.

Gardai searched a house in the town on Thursday afternoon and discovered approximately €13,000 in cash as well as a quantity of cannabis, valued at around €6,000.

Gardai have questioned the youth and investigations are ongoing.
