A technical examination is getting underway this morning at the scene of a bus crash in Co. Westmeath in which the driver was killed.
The 55 year old died in hospital after the bus hit a ditch close to Moate in the Killogeenaghan Townland at around 5.30 yesterday evening.
There were around 20 passengers on board at the time, some were treated for minor injuries in hospital.

The road is closed for a technical examination of the scene, which will be conducted by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators this morning.
