There were 'tears, smiles and even laughter' as the Englishman who died after an alleged assault in Ballaghaderreen was laid to rest.
Jorden Newin, 39, suffered serious injuries after the alleged assault in the early hours of New Year’s Day and later died in hospital.
The father-of-three's funeral took place in the Garden of England Crematorium in Bobbing in Kent on Thursday.
A family member said online: "Today we laid Jorden Newin to rest.
"It was a day filled with tears, smiles, and even laughter as we came together to celebrate his life.
"A life taken far too soon, yet one that touched so many and will never be forgotten.
"The love in the room today was overwhelming.
"It was beautiful to see just how many people came to honour you and send you on your final journey.
"You were so deeply loved, and that love will carry on through your three beautiful daughters, who will always be a part of you.
"Today was incredibly hard, but it was also a truly special send off for you, where Moira, the girls, and of course your mum and the boys, all did you so unbelievably proud.
"Rest in peace, Jords.
"I know Nan and Grandad will be there waiting for you with open arms. Forever loved, forever cherished, forever remembered."
