Taoiseach to visit areas worst affected by Storm Chandra

Several counties across the south and east are continuing clean-up efforts following Storm Chandra.

Taoiseach Micheál Martin will today visit areas worst affected by last week's floods.
Several counties across the south and east are continuing clean-up efforts following Storm Chandra.
Meanwhile, another status yellow rain warning for Wexford, Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford and Cork will come into effect at 6 o'clock this evening.

The Taoiseach is expected to visit Enniscorthy this afternoon, along with Kilkenny and Carlow, some of the worst-hit areas.
With further weather warnings expected today, homes and businesses are preparing for the possibility of more flooding.
Additional rain warnings are being issued for parts of the south and east today, with Met Éireann warning river levels remain high.
An Emergency Response Payment is also now available for people whose homes were damaged.
