The Taoiseach will march in Philadelphia’s Saint Patrick’s Day Parade today on the second day of his visit to the US.

Micheál Martin yesterday climbed the steps Rocky Balboa famously trained on in the 1976 film.
With the main event still ahead of him on Tuesday at the White House, he could be forgiven for not throwing his arms in the air at the top step.
Throughout a series of events he emphasised the interlinked economies and the Irish people present here before the United States came into existence and who played a vital role in its formation.
That theme will likely play a starring role during his meeting with President Donald Trump.
