Taoiseach rules out possible early general election

A vote doesn't need to be called until the Spring of 2025.

The Taoiseach's ruling out the possibility of an early general election.

A vote doesn't need to be called until the Spring of 2025, however there has been speculation the Taoiseach could go the country as early as later this year, or in the first few months of next year.

However Leo Varadkar says it won't happen until after the local and European elections next June.
