Tánaiste's Lough Funshinagh visit brought forward

It comes as the Attorney General meets OPW Minister Kieran O'Donnell in relation to matter later today

The Tánaiste has brought forward his planned visit to a flood-affected area of south Roscommon. Micheál Martin was due to visit Lough Funshinagh on 31st May, but it has now been confirmed he will meet with residents and local public representatives on May 22nd.

It comes as the Attorney General meets Minister at the Office of Public Works Kieran O'Donnell in relation to matter later today. Two families have been forced to evacuate their homes in the Curraghboy area in recent weeks due to rising water levels.
