The Tánaiste says there could be positive news very shortly on a new fire station for Ballymahon. It’s after Longford-Westmeath TD Micheál Carrigy raised the issue in the Dáil.
He says over 3,000 people live in the town and the current station services over 10,000 people. Deputy Carrigy says the town also has a major tourist attraction:
