Local Gardaí are advising supporters travelling to Sunday's Connacht final between Roscommon and Galway of traffic arrangements.
The match is due to throw-in at King and Moffatt Dr Hyde Park at 4.15pm.
A comprehensive Garda traffic management plan will be in operation throughout the day.
Patrons attending the match are being asked to plan their journey carefully and follow all directions on the day.
Motorists are advised to use public car parks in the town centre where possible.
There will be no parking permitted along the Athlone Road or adjoining estates, from Ard Aoibhinn Housing Estate outward, except for local access.
On the Circular Road, parking is not allowed, although nearby car parks may be used.
Limited parking will be available on the Golf Links Road, with vehicles required to face away from the town centre.
On the Racecourse and Boyle Roads, parking is permitted only in designated areas, again facing outbound.
Parking on the Galway Road is restricted to authorised locations only.
Gardaí and stewards will be in place throughout the day, and all attendees are asked to follow their instructions at all times.
Vehicles causing obstruction or parked illegally may be ticketed or towed.
Supporters are also reminded to respect local residents, secure their vehicles, and keep valuables out of sight.
Heavy traffic volumes are expected, and delays are likely, so extra travel time is strongly advised.
