A local councillor says a new bypass of Boyle would make a huge difference to the town.
Roscommon County Council has prepared a Draft Local Transport Plan for the town.
The authors say they'd fully support an N61 South Ring Road, which would bypass Boyle, after they did a traffic survey.

They also support the reclassification of the N61 as a national primary road.
