Emergency services were called to Intersport Elverys in Longford Retail Park yesterday evening after part of the store’s roof was damaged during Storm Amy.
It’s understood strong winds caused the glass front of the building to buckle, prompting staff to evacuate the premises.
Fire crews from Longford responded quickly and managed to stabilise the structure.

The store will remain closed until a structural engineer completes safety checks and repairs.
