A status yellow low temperature warning has been issued for the Shannonside region tonight. The warning begins at 8pm and runs until 11am tomorrow morning.
It also affects Munster, Ulster, all of Connacht and west Leinster. Met Éireann says minimum temperatures will be around minus 3 degrees with sharp to severe frost forming.
