Some local businesses may be in line for a boost as an appeals process for the Power Up grant opens today. It's a €4,000 payment to eligible SMEs in the hospitality, retail and beauty sectors.
The appeals process allows businesses misclassified during the original Increased Cost of Business grant registration to apply. Local Fine Gael Senator Gareth Scahill is urging businesses that are eligible, to make their appeal as soon as possible:
