The Emergency Department at Sligo University Hospital is extremely busy today with close to 40 people waiting on a bed today.
Across the region, 41 people are waiting for admission at local hospitals with the vast majority in the North West.
38 people are on trolleys or waiting elsewhere in the ward in Sligo this morning.

That's followed by two patients in Mullingar and just one waiting in Portiuncula Hospital.
University Hospital Limerick is once again the worst affected facility in the country today, with 107 people waiting on a bed.
