A man guilty of the murder of two men in Sligo last year is due to be sentenced in the Central Criminal Court this morning.
23-year-old Yousef Palani, of Markievicz Heights in Sligo, also admitted causing serious harm to another man the day before he killed his first victim.
Within days of each other in April last year, 41 year old Aidan Moffitt and 58 year old Michael Snee were found dead in their Sligo homes.

Yousef Palani was due to stand trial for the double-murder in November, but he pleaded guilty to the charges last month.
Aside from being presented with victim impact statements, the judge will also be given an overview of the facts of the case before Palani is handed a life sentence today.
