The Lough Ree Access for All project in Lanesboro has advertised for 6 full time positions in recent weeks.
The service which provides a specially adapted boat for people who use wheelchairs was first tested in August of last year after funds had been approved to purchase the cruiser from a specialist firm in Estonia.
The aim of the project is to provide alternative employment for ex Bord na Mona workers.

The jobs offered included a manager/boat manager , boat crew members, receptionist, and marketing assistant.
