SIPTU ambulance staff in Roscommon will be holding a protest next week.
SIPTU members in the National Ambulance Service have voted overwhelmingly for industrial action, which will include a series of strikes scheduled for the month of May.
Trade union 'Unite' has announced that a work-to-rule will begin on Monday 11th May, followed by a 24-hour stoppage on Tuesday, May 12th.
It's over disputes that the recommended enhanced pay scales to reflect the growing demands of services have not been implemented by the HSE.
Emergency medical technicians as well as paramedics will be participating in the industrial action, with a picket scheduled at the Roscommon ambulance station next Tuesday.
