The Government's plan to add extra childcare spaces as part of the Budget has been described as 'bizarre' by a local TD. Roscommon-Galway TD Claire Kerrane says extensions to existing childcare facilities won't solve the issue. She says schools across the region have been waiting for funding for new buildings.
