Planning permission has been granted for significant upgrade works at a well known GAA club in south Roscommon.
Tremane GAA Club near Athleague have gotten approval for the installation of a 600 metre astro turf pitch, a new electronic scoreboard and 21 new floodlights for the existing sand track facility.
Plans also include the installation of a 72 square metre storage unit for sports equipment.
County planners approved the application with five conditions attached.
