House prices across the Shannonside region have seen a sharp rise in the last three months of this year.
That's according to the Irish Independent REA Average House Price Index.
The report focuses on the average price of a three-bed semi-detached home.
Prices in Longford have risen by 3.3 per cent to €221,000.
A 1.9 per cent increase has been reported in Roscommon with homes there totalling €270,000.
Monaghan and Leitrim's prices are up 2 per cent and 1.1 per cent to €250,000 and €225,000 respectively.
Cavan, however, is one of three counties nationally that have not seen a change with prices holding firm at €225,000.
