There'll be beautiful weather in the Shannonside region over the next day and a half - before it takes a turn for the worse over the weekend. Roscommon, Longford and Leitrim are as hot as Ibiza today.
People are heading to popular spots across the region, including Lough Key Forest Park in Boyle, Derrycassan Woods in Longford, and Acres Lake Boardwalk in Drumshanbo. But Gerry Murphy from Met Eireann says the sunny weather won't last too long:
