Shannonside buildings to be lit up in support of Wave of Light campaign

Public buildings across the region will light up pink and blue this Friday as part of the Wave of Light campaign.

The initiative which takes place on Baby and Infant Loss awareness day, shows support for families bereaved through miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal death.

Portiuncula, Sligo and Mullingar hospitals will be illuminated in colour from 7pm this evening.

Other landmark buildings taking part in the global wave of light include the County Council Offices in Longford, Leitrim, Cavan and Monaghan.
