Leitrim County Council is facing calls to address the deteriorating condition of local roads.
At this month's meeting of Carrick Municipal District, Enda Stenson tabled a motion requesting that the council deploy its road patching unit as soon as possible to carry out urgent repairs across rural areas.
He warned that many roads have suffered significant damage due to the exceptionally high volume of rain experienced over the winter months.
