The Government has been warned that Chinese-made CCTV cameras in Leinster House could pose a security-risk.
The Irish Council for Civil Liberties has written to politicians in relation to the Chinese-state backed video surveillance company Hikvision.
It says that the company's cameras can "capture video of TDs, Senators and staff, and their private conversations."
