A local Senator has called for the upgrade of the N60 which goes through Castlerea. Fine Gael Senator Gareth Scahill made the call in the Seanad this week.
He says there will be increased traffic on the road once the N5 Ballaghaderreen to Scramoge bypass is completed. Senator Scahill says work on a ring road in Castlerea needs to begin now:
