Developer Seán Mulryan and a delegation from the Ballymore Property Group are set to present a 5 billion euro plan for Athlone at today's Roscommon County Council meeting.
Ballymore hope to turn Athlone into Ireland's first green city by 2040 with a population of 100,000.
They say today's presentation forms an important milestone in this ongoing engagement process.
