Between 30 and 40 long-term jobs could be created in Longford town.
That's following the agreed sale of the former Providers building on Lower Main Street.
The site, idle since the McGinnity family relocated in 2008, is set to become a modern Community Healthcare Hub following approval by local councillors.
The project is being advanced by Dr Neil Healy and the Bellview Clinics Group, which already serves up to 50,000 patients across the Midlands.
The development will deliver a broad range of services, including GP care, diagnostics, mental health supports, physiotherapy and dental services.
